Fixed-Scope Engagement
Workflow Automation Prototype
See your workflow in action before you build it for production. Northbridge Software LLC transforms one clearly defined business workflow into a functional, non-production software prototype — an interactive demonstration of how information enters the workflow, how defined business rules operate, how decisions are processed, and how results are produced. Built with synthetic data and simulated integrations, it helps your team validate the workflow before investing in a production implementation. Fixed price. Defined scope. Tangible software deliverables.
Engagement details
Delivery: Typically 7–10 business days after confirmed payment and complete intake
Choose the Workflow Automation Prototype when you want to see one defined workflow working as software before committing to production. It delivers functioning non-production demonstration software with synthetic data and simulated integrations — not a written plan (Automation Blueprint) and not a production implementation (Focused Automation Implementation).

Why work with Northbridge?
- Clearly defined scope, published in advance so there are no surprises at invoicing.
- Predictable pricing in United States dollars, with no hidden expansion fees.
- Direct communication with the engineer doing the work — no account layer in between.
- A practical business-and-technical perspective focused on what will actually operate in production.
- A structured delivery process, and the option to continue through a custom engagement when broader work is warranted.
Who it is for
Businesses that want to see one defined workflow working as software — to validate rules, decisions and outputs with their team — before commissioning a production implementation.
Common use cases
- Lead Intake & Routing — receive an inquiry, apply a routing rule, record its destination and display the resulting status
- Request Approval & Tracking — create an internal request, apply an approval decision, display its status and record an exception outcome
- Data-to-Document Workflow — receive structured information, validate essential fields and produce an example document or structured output
Typical scope examples
- Prototyping inquiry intake and routing
- Prototyping an internal request and approval tracker
- Prototyping validation and document output from submitted data
Each prototype follows one supported workflow pattern, uses synthetic data and simulated integrations, and stays within the published limits.
